Naming Contest of the New Chinatown Mascot!

"Muse" has launched at the Chinatown Festival press conference on August 3, 2010. Today a naming contest will begin for the name of the selected mascot at www.vancouver-chinatown.com. During Chinatown Festival on August 14 and 15, the mascot will come out and meet the community! The Naming Contest will be distributed to festival goers in the form of paper ballots. Voting ends on August 20 at 11:59pm, and the final name of the mascot will be announced some time in the near future. Name our mascot now!

Special thanks to the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Vancouver and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of PR China for the donation and production of the mascot.

The winner of the Naming Contest will be selected by a panel of judges consisting of the Mascot Committee of the Vancouver Chinatown BIA Society, whose decision in this matter shall be final. By entering the Naming Contest, the winner of the contest assigns all right, title and interest in the winning name to the Vancouver Chinatown BIA Society for its own use absolutely.
