Chinatown Festival HOME

The 9th Vancouver Chinatown Festival was a huge success thanks to many local supporters and visitors. There were more than 48 thousand attendees at the festival. We would like to thank all our supportive sponsors, performers and vendors that made this festival a multicultural event of the year.

We have received many concerns where individuals are receiving phone calls in regards to a prize draw indicating that they have won a trip with the Imperial Majestic Cruise Line and Ramada Hotels. Individuals are required to pay $299 and submit their personal information and credit card in order to process this deal; which led to suspicion that a vendor is involved.

We have previously done a background check on booth vendors prior to the festival, and none of the vendors had come to our attention. However, due to the feedbacks we are receiving we have forward our concerns to the Canadian Better Business Bureau to further this investigation.

We strongly advise the public to refrain from accepting these vacation packages.
