This year TD Youth Talent Showdown is not only for dancers, it is a special edition for all types of performers. If you think that you've got talent and between the ages of 15-25, this is your chance to shine!
The person or crew who puts on the most amazing performance for our judges will win the competition and receive BIG PRIZES!

Who
Any type of performers, solo or a group, between the ages of 15 to 25, register today to perform and kick it!

When & Where
Registration Deadline: Monday June 27, 2011, 5pm
Audition: Saturday July 9, 2011, 12noon- 5pm @ Vancouver Chinatown BIA Society Office
Preliminaries: Saturday July 23, 2011, 8pm @ Vancouver Chinatown Night Market
Finals: Sunday, August 7, 2011, 3pm @ TD Vancouver Chinatown Festival Main Stage

How

• Read full contest Rules and Regulations.
• Download and complete the Application Form and Release and Waivers.
• Mail/Drop off the completed Application Form, Release and Waivers, along with CAD $20 registration fee to Vancouver Chinatown BIA Society (508 Taylor Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 6M4 or fax: 604 632 3809).
• Please make cheque payable to Vancouver Chinatown BIA Society. All registrations must reach Vancouver Chinatown BIA Society by Monday June 27th, 2011, 5pm.
• Practice and get ready for the auditions!

Prizes

• There are four prizes to be won (approximate retail value of over $3,000).
• First place winner is awarded with cash, a trophy and gifts with an approximate retail value of $1,500
• Second place winner is awarded with cash, a trophy and gifts with an approximate retail value of $1,000.
• Third place winner is awarded with cash, a trophy and gifts with an approximate retail value of $750.00.
• People's Choice Award winner is awarded with cash and a trophy with an approximate retail value of $200.00.
• In the event the winner is a group, any cash and prizes won by the group will be split amongst all members of the winning group.
• All awarded non-cash prizes may not be sold and are not redeemable for cash.
